Planning the Service

Planning a funeral for a loved one is often a time of immense grief. It can also be a time of  healing and celebration of life. As a faith community, we are here to support you through the process.

Peace be to the memory of the one who has gone before us. We trust in the words of our Lord Jesus Christ, I am the resurrection and the life, whoever believes in me will have eternal life.”

Thanks be to God. AMEN

Psalm 23

1 The LORD is my shepherd, I shall not want.

2 He makes me lie down in green pastures; He leads me beside still waters;

3 He restores my soul.He leads me in right paths for His name’s sake.

4 Even though I walk through the darkest valley, I fear no evil; for you are with me;Your rod and your staff – they comfort me.

5You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies; You anoint my head with oil; My cup overflows.

6Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life,and I shall dwell in the house of the LORD my whole life long.

Memorials & Bequests

At the time of the funeral you may receive gifts and memorials from people to honor your loved ones.

Living Waters has a Mission Endowment Fund to receive memorials, or gifts may be made for particular ministries, or to the general fund of the church.

If you have not hired a funeral home to assist you as you plan for the service, you may wish to have additional blank envelopes available should someone wish to make a donation.
